Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional? Our Orlando, Florida facility is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that inventory records are precise and that stock levels are optimized. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and implementing procedures to prevent future errors. This role requires a thorough understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse logistics. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount. You will work closely with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and to support order fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform tasks that may involve some Lifting. A commitment to safety, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues or shortages.
  • Assist with the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including PPE usage.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks that may involve some Lifting.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
