Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations using WMS.
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely and proficiently.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Identify and report any operational inefficiencies or safety hazards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; some college or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a Distribution Center Associate or similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
