Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Stack and retrieve inventory from high or low levels as required.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and placement.
- Ensure all movements are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and logistics best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and logistics operations.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, balance, and physical stamina.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE is mandatory.
