Order Picker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Detroit, Michigan. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing items according to order tickets, using handheld scanners or other technology to track inventory, and ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage. This role is essential to our supply chain operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
• Pack orders efficiently and securely for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
• Operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Meet or exceed picking and packing performance metrics.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Commitment to workplace Safety.
