Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Accurately store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training and certification provided where necessary).
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper lifting and ergonomic practices.
- Consistently wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Identify and report any safety hazards, operational issues, or inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding and implementation of warehouse safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts or overtime as needed.
