Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stockouts or overstock situations.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Manage the returned goods process and ensure accurate re-entry into inventory.
- Work closely with receiving and shipping departments to ensure smooth material flow.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (if applicable and certified).
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a logistics or warehouse setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to perform accurate counts and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and best practices.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear necessary PPE.
- Forklift certification is a significant plus.
