Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our San Francisco, California location. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems, which are foundational to our Logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting regular audits, reconciling stock levels, and implementing strategies to prevent shrinkage and errors. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of inventory control best practices, and a meticulous approach to data management. You will work collaboratively with warehouse staff and management to ensure optimal stock accuracy, minimizing disruptions and maximizing operational efficiency. A strong focus on Safety and the proper handling of all materials is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
  • Maintain the accuracy of inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce errors.
  • Monitor stock rotation and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate receiving and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure all inventory is stored appropriately and safely.
  • Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE and safe Lifting techniques.
  • Support the overall effectiveness of our Logistics chain through precise inventory management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Significant experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain.
  • Proficiency in WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of Safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with the principles of Logistics.
