Advanced Practice Cardiologist - NP/PA Opportunity Location: Oak Harbor, WA Seattle 90m Full or Part-Time Schedule: 1 day/week, 10-hour shifts Position OverviewSeeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - to provide specialized cardiovascular care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role supports cardiologists in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of heart and vascular conditions, including heart failure, hypertension, and coronary artery disease.Position Highlights Part-time schedule: 10-hour shifts, 1 day per week (FTE 0.25) Collaborative practice with cardiologists and multidisciplinary team Opportunity to participate in both inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic care Perform or assist with minor invasive procedures such as cardioversions and temporary pacing Involvement in quality improvement initiatives and patient educationKey Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including histories, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation Order, interpret, and monitor EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac device interrogations Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and manage medications Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health and lifestyle modifications Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings Assist with cardiac procedures such as pacemaker and loop recorder insertions Maintain accurate EMR documentation and contribute to quality improvement projectsQualifications - Nurse Practitioner (NP) Master's (MSN) or Doctoral (DNP) degree from an accredited program 1-3 years of clinical experience in cardiology, critical care, or acute care Active Washington State RN & ARNP license (or Multistate License) Active Board Certification as Adult or Family NP Active unrestricted DEA license BLS and ACLS certificationQualifications - Physician Assistant (PA) Graduation from an accredited PA program 1-3 years of clinical experience in cardiology, critical care, or acute care Active Washington State PA license NCCPA Board Certification Active unrestricted DEA license BLS and ACLS certificationCompensation & Benefits Hourly Rate: $62.50 - $72.00 (Part-Time) Full-Time Equivalent: $130,000 - $150,000 Sign-On Incentive: Up to $20,000 for full-time hires Benefit eligibility for employees working 0.6 FTE Comprehensive health, retirement, PTO, CME allowance, and malpractice coverage (for eligible FTE) Estimated pay range/amount is $115,000 to $146,762.
