Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Locum PA/NP Opportunity Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery

️ Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing (90-day minimum preferred)

seeking a Board-Certified PA or NP to support Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery patients in a nocturnal inpatient role . This is a locum tenens backfill assignment with no OR or ICU CT surgery coverage required .

• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off 12-hour night shifts (7 PM 7 AM)
• Call: None
• Setting:
  • Vascular Surgery: ICU (co-managed with Critical Care) + Floor
  • Cardiothoracic Surgery: Floor only
• Patient Load: per shift 30-bed department
• Team: 12 RNs, 2 PA/NPs
• EMR: Epic
• No rounding required focus on admissions, consults, and changes in condition

• Board Certified PA or NP
• ACLS & BLS
• Active NC License (no exceptions)
• Clean file for temp privileges

• 50/50 split: Vascular & Cardiothoracic Surgery
• All major vascular operations (no ruptures/dissections)
• No OR responsibilities
