Description
Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. By delivering broadband to a wide range of customers, Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide.
The IFT team is building and launching global transportation and operational cost allocation capabilities. The role requires designing future‑proof integration patterns that evolve with business and regulatory needs while minimizing changes to business systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and align product vision with business goals, and develop the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with global Finance, Accounting and Tax partners to specify detailed product requirements, and work with engineering to manage release schedules, risks, and trade‑offs.
- Influence technology design in partnership with engineering teams to ensure choices meet business needs and support product re‑usability.
- Develop testing plans and communicate releases to stakeholders.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
A day in the life
Work with Engineering teams to prioritize critical work and align with launch deadlines. Engage with customers and regional leaders to define requirements, balancing global fulfillment needs with regional nuances, and coordinate with external technical teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with feature delivery and trade‑offs of a product.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions on technology decisions and strategy.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience advocating for critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
- Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest market up to $235,200/year in our highest market.
