Onsite – St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands Position Summary: Schneider Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Inpatient Pharmacist to join our hospital pharmacy team. This role supports safe, effective medication use across acute care units and collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Verify and dispense inpatient medication orders Perform clinical review of orders (renal dosing, interactions, allergies, appropriateness) Participate in interdisciplinary rounds as assigned (ICU/acute care) Provide drug information to providers and nursing staff Support medication reconciliation and discharge counseling Prepare, verify, and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding per USP
/ Respond to codes and clinical emergencies Monitor and document therapeutic drug levels (e.g., vancomycin, aminoglycosides) Ensure compliance with hospital policies, TJC, CMS, and DEA requirements Support inventory management, controlled substance oversight, and Omnicell workflows Precept students or new staff as needed Qualifications: PharmD required Active pharmacist license (USVI license or eligibility required) Hospital or inpatient experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Schedule & Benefits: Full-time position with rotating shifts/weekends Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to practice broad clinical pharmacy in a close-knit hospital setting How to Apply: Interested candidates should apply via LinkedIn.
