Lead Java Developer (McLean)

Technical Skills Required: Core Java & Backend: Strong hands-on experience with

Java (8+) Spring / Spring Boot , Spring MVC, Spring Security Microservices architecture RESTful APIs, JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI Hibernate / JPA AWS Cloud: Strong experience with AWS services such as: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda ECS / EKS API Gateway CloudWatch, IAM Experience with cloud-native and serverless architectures Understanding of AWS security and cost optimization DevOps & Tools: CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) Docker, Kubernetes Git, Maven/Gradle Monitoring and logging tools Databases: RDBMS: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle NoSQL: DynamoDB, MongoDB (good to have) Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Experience leading and mentoring development teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Nice to Have: AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / Developer) Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
