Senior Project Manager – Clinical Technology & Healthcare Infrastructure Contract Duration: 6 months Start Date: January 12, 2026 Location: Hybrid (Local candidates preferred) Hours: 40/week

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with deep experience deploying and supporting technology within clinical and hospital environments, along with proven ability to lead IT planning and execution for healthcare construction, renovation, and expansion projects. This role will oversee a portfolio of business development and IT facilities initiatives, ensuring all technology infrastructure is designed, procured, installed, validated, and fully operational for clinical use. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at the intersection of clinical workflows, technical infrastructure, and construction planning.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Technology Deployment & Support (Primary Focus) Oversee end-to-end deployment of clinical and hospital technologies across inpatient, outpatient, surgical, imaging, and emergency care settings. Coordinate installation, configuration, integration, and validation of technologies such as: Imaging & Surgical Modalities: CT, MRI, XR, Cath Lab, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Hybrid OR environments, PACS connectivity Clinical Software & Systems: EHR platforms (Epic or similar), PACS/VNA, RTLS, medication dispensing, patient monitoring, nurse call, telehealth Operational & Patient-Facing Systems: AV/conference room tech, digital signage, kiosks, check-in, wayfinding End-User Clinical Hardware: Workstations-on-wheels (WOWs), tablets, printers, bedside devices, med cabinets, scanners, peripherals Ensure clinical activation readiness, device deployment, cutover planning, go-live support, and post-occupancy transition activities. Manage high-urgency issues with potential patient care impact, ensuring timely escalation and resolution. Lead IT planning and execution for new facilities, renovations, ambulatory expansions, and hospital growth initiatives, including OR/surgical suites, ED expansions, imaging centers, and inpatient units. Collaborate with Strategy, Business Development, Facilities, Construction, Clinical Engineering, Networking, Security, Telecom, and operational leadership to align project scopes and deliverables. Additional Qualifications (Bonus Asks) Interpret design drawings and construction documents; participate in OAC and design meetings; coordinate with architects, GCs, subcontractors, and vendors. Manage procurement, submittals, schedules, budgets, installation timelines, and risk mitigation tied to IT workstreams. Infrastructure & Technical Coordination Support requirements and oversight for low-voltage cabling, communication rooms/IDFs, and core network readiness. Maintain working knowledge of structured cabling, telecom room standards, wireless coverage considerations, and dependencies with network engineering teams.

Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects in clinical or hospital environments. Demonstrated experience with clinical technology deployment, activation planning, and operational readiness for healthcare facilities. Strong ability to communicate with both clinical and technical stakeholders, translating requirements and managing cross-functional alignment. Proven track record leading IT workstreams in construction, renovation, and healthcare facility expansion projects. Ability to interpret construction drawings, manage vendor coordination, and navigate facilities/construction workflows. Exceptional organization, urgency, and decision-making skills in environments with patient care impact.

Preferred Qualifications PMP or equivalent project management certification. Advanced degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field.
