Our client is a boutique investment bank with a national footprint and a deep specialization in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) sector. Headquartered in Cleveland, and with offices in Grand Rapids, Plano, and Southern California, they provide M&A advisory, capital raising, and strategic consulting services to clients across the financial services landscape.

Position Overview : Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join its growing FIG team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment banking or transaction advisory, with a demonstrated focus on FIG or specialty insurance sectors. This role offers the opportunity to lead deal execution, manage client relationships, and mentor junior team members in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions within the FIG sector. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry professionals. Oversee the preparation of financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and marketing materials. Drive due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors. Mentor and supervise analysts and associates, fostering professional development and high performance. Contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and supporting senior bankers in client outreach.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or a related financial services role. Strong transaction experience in FIG, with a preference for candidates with speciality insurance expertise. Proven ability to lead deal execution and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines. Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain).

Expected Compensation:

Base Salary: $130k - $175k

Discretionary Bonus: 0% - 100%
