Are you a skilled transactional attorney looking to broaden your impact across the investment spectrum? Our client, a well-established law firm with a nationwide presence, is seeking anInvestment Team Associate
to support its expanding private credit, direct lending, and equity investment practice. This role provides a rare opportunity to advise on both debt and equity sides of transactions and work directly with capital providers and portfolio companies.
Role Highlights: Represent lenders and alternative investment vehicles in private credit and equity deals. Handle control and growth equity investments on behalf of private equity fund investors. Advise portfolio companies on acquisitions, financing, and sale transactions. Collaborate with experienced legal professionals across the capital structure. Ideal Candidate Profile: 2 - 6 years of experience in transactional law (corporate or finance focus preferred). Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from a top 30 law school (minimum GPA 3.0; not in bottom 50% of class). Prior experience at a Top 200 AM Law firm. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client service skills. Admission to the North Carolina Bar or eligibility to apply.
