Pharmacist.
IMPORTANT NOTES: This will be an onsite role. Duration: 5-6 months assignment with possible conversion Work location:
4971 Southridge, Suite 115 Memphis, TN 38141 Work schedule: ( Mon – Fri) || 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM || Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (as needed). 40 hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Pharmacist will work in a
highly automated central fill pharmacy environment , collaborating with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and operations staff to meet daily production goals. This role focuses on
workflow management, medication accuracy, compliance, and quality assurance
within a high-volume setting. Review, verify, and dispense medication orders accurately and efficiently Oversee pharmacy automation processes, including hopper replenishment and system monitoring Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, clerks, and support staff Conduct quality checks during production per operational requirements Document and report medication errors to the Supervisor and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Ensure compliance with all applicable
State and Federal pharmacy laws and regulations Manage return-to-stock processes Provide guidance and assistance during medication filling operations Deliver professional drug and product information to operations staff as requested Monitor proper storage, handling, and distribution of medications Complete end-of-day closing procedures according to pharmacy protocols Promote teamwork and assist across departments as needed Adhere to company and pharmacy policies, procedures, and safety standards Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all pharmacy operations
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution Active, unrestricted Tennessee Pharmacist License (required) Must have prior pharmacist experience in a
high-volume or central fill pharmacy Experience working in automated pharmacy environments. Multi-state pharmacist licensure. Eligibility for licensure in additional states. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety. Ability to work evening shifts and Saturdays as needed.
