This role partners closely with the CEO, CFO, CLO, Board of Directors, and rating agencies. Key Responsibilities Capital Allocation & Financial Strategy Design and lead capital allocation frameworks to optimize returns, liquidity, and surplus adequacy Balance growth investments with risk-adjusted returns and policyholder commitments Align capital decisions with corporate strategy, market dynamics, and stakeholder expectations Mergers & Acquisitions Build and lead M&A capabilities, including pipeline development, valuation, due diligence, and integration Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure strategic and financial alignment Manage external advisors such as banks and consultants Monitor industry trends and competitive M&A activity Treasury & Risk Oversight Oversee global treasury operations, including liquidity, funding, and risk management Establish policies for cash management, FX, and interest rate risk Executive Leadership & Governance Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on capital deployment and financial decisions Report to the Board on capital performance, investments, and strategic initiatives Ensure regulatory compliance and strong internal controls What You Bring Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred CPA, CFA, or CTP a plus 10+ years experience leading M&A and capital initiatives in insurance, banking, or financial services Deep expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and complex transactions Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders Proven project leadership across large, cross-functional initiatives
