Seeking a highly experienced
Technical Project Manager
to lead complex, large-scale data center initiatives in partnership with xAI. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of project management experience, with strong expertise in data center environments and a proven ability to drive projects across technical teams. This individual will bridge the gap between technical subject matter experts and executive stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in project management, with significant exposure to data center or infrastructure environments. Strong understanding of technical concepts within data centers (e.g., networking, compute, storage, hardware lifecycle, AI infrastructure). Experience managing Agile projects and working with Agile teams. Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Desired Skills & Experience Experience in AI-focused data center environments. ACP or PMP certification. Additional project management or technical certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, ITIL, SAFe).
What You Will Be Doing Lead end-to-end project management for data center initiatives, from planning and execution through delivery and post-implementation review. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and vendor partners, to ensure seamless execution of deliverables. Understand technical concepts at a deep enough level to communicate effectively with engineers (e.g., networking, servers, storage, power, cooling) without needing to perform hands-on configuration. Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Apply Agile methodologies to foster collaboration, adaptability, and iterative progress across technical workstreams.
