Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming office environment. This position is responsible for cleaning interior office spaces and common areas to support staff and volunteers who serve our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain interior office spaces and common areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and shared spaces
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, desks, and high-touch areas
• Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
• Report maintenance or supply needs to supervisor

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Respectful of a professional office environment
