Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Provide obstetrics and gynecology services with approximately 3 patient encounters per shift • Handle low risk pregnancies with comprehensive care • Perform FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE • Conduct OB ultrasounds including both Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) • Perform amniocentesis procedures as needed • Manage routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries • Make decisions regarding c-section procedures • Handle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and abruptions • Manage VBAC deliveries when appropriate • Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations • Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures • Perform laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation) • Conduct operative/major procedures including treatment of ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's • Must be licensed in Alabama • Board certification eligible • Level 3 trauma facility • Estimated credentialing timeframe of 2 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
