American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a CA RN license and advanced certifications.
Responsibilities
* Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting
* Night shifts from 18:00 to 06:30
* Patient population includes critically ill adults requiring hemodynamic monitoring and complex care
* 13-week contract assignment
* Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ICU
* Directs and guides patient/family education and activities of other nursing personnel
* Expected to communicate any changes in patient condition to physicians
* Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality
* No difference in rate for local candidates
Requirements
* Active CA RN license required
* Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
* Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
* Completion of a Workplace Violence Prevention course (DCI/BVP), available through Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC
* Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
