$28.00 per hour Position Overview
The Trainer provides classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction to new and existing operators, supports ongoing safety education for location personnel, and ensures training activities meet company standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
Provide
classroom and behind-the-wheel training
to new operators
Conduct retraining and refresher training for current operators
Deliver safety and operational training to location personnel
Track training attendance and maintain required training documentation in accordance with company policy and regulations
Support safety initiatives, including: Accident investigations
Completion of compliance forms
Participation in safety meetings
Required Experience & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of training experience
1-3 years of transportation, safety, or related experience
Knowledge of
federal and state safety and environmental regulations
Computer proficiency with
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Consistent attendance and punctuality
Must possess a
reliable personal vehicle
to travel within the service area as needed
Compliance Requirements
Subject to
DOT drug testing and physical
DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40
does not authorize the use of
Schedule I drugs, including marijuana , for any reason
