The Club Manager will be responsible for overseeing gym operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience while maintaining financial success. The role includes leading a team with continuous training and development, serving the community, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all members.

Regional Manager .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing staff including Assistant Managers, Front Desk Representatives, Fitness Instructors, and Cleaners.

Create a culture of positivity and motivation within your club and your staff.

Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests while ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.

Complete payroll functions in a timely manner.

Staff Management

Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered.

Lead by example and maintain consistent accountability for direct reports through training and coaching, adhering to PFMW’s values and goals.

Process weekly/bi-weekly employee payroll.

Resolve employee issues or concerns.

Manage disciplinary or termination activities.

Complete monthly and annual evaluations of your team.

Uphold integrity and security of staff files and sensitive documents.

Handle front desk activities: answer phones, process new member sign-ups, walk prospective members on tours, manage membership functions, promote fitness instruction classes, facilitate member requests and emergencies.

Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed and oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.

Maintain safety of employees, members, and club property.

Communicate equipment repair needs to the Director of Operations and Maintenance Technician.

Manage marketing efforts, ensuring staff is trained on all promotions.

Ensure staff completes all HR-related forms and processes.

Track reports and statistics (daily, weekly, monthly, annually).

Act as a brand ambassador by leading a Judgement Free lifestyle.

Conduct a minimum of five interviews weekly.

Qualifications / Requirements

Superior customer service skills.

Experience as Assistant Manager at Planet Fitness.

Exceptional leadership, diplomacy, and listening skills.

Hard working, enthusiastic, and energetic.

Strong problem resolution skills.

Current CPR certification.

High school diploma/GED equivalent (required).

Age 18 or older.

Punctual and reliable.

Available via phone during non-working hours.

Represent core values of PFMW at all times (respect, passion, family, teamwork, fun, trust, loyalty).

Obtain CTM certification within six months of becoming a manager.

Accept overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays; flexible schedule required.

Physical Demands

Continual standing and walking during shifts.

Continual talking in person or on the phone during shifts.

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching; no equipment under performer.
