Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Structural Engineer for a hybrid work position—balancing remote and in‑office collaboration. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team committed to delivering high‑quality projects with a strong emphasis on structural design and analysis.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for various construction projects, ensuring they meet required standards and specifications.
Utilize RISA 3D software for structural modeling and analysis.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and other engineering professionals to develop integrated solutions.
Review and approve project drawings and reports.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and feedback.
Conduct site inspections to ensure structures are built according to design and comply with safety regulations.
Manage project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met within agreed timeframes.
Continuously stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Participate in client meetings, providing expert advice and recommendations on structural matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically in the construction industry.
Proficiency in using RISA 3D or equivalent structural engineering software.
Professional Engineer (PE) license and Licensure as a Structural Engineer (SE) required.
Excellent understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a hybrid model, balancing remote and in‑office work.
Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
