Senior or Project Engineer – Geotechnical & Geoforensic
G3SoilWorks is a boutique consulting firm specializing in Geotechnical, Geoforensic, and Groundwater projects across Southern California. We’re a small, tight‑knit team where your work has real impact—from field investigations to client‑facing solutions.
We’re looking for a Senior or Project Engineer (P.E.) with 10+ years of experience to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and help grow our practice.
Base pay range $90,000.00/yr – $120,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types Annual Bonus
What you’ll do
Lead geotechnical and forensic projects from start to finish.
Manage multiple projects—ranging from foundation design for new construction to post‑construction forensic investigations—while maintaining high‑quality standards.
Participate in business development through writing and reviewing proposals while maintaining client relationships.
Oversee construction operations, field investigations, sampling, and lab testing.
Perform geotechnical analyses and prepare technical reports.
Collaborate directly with clients, contractors, and agencies.
Mentor junior engineers and field staff.
What we’re looking for
B.S. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (minimum).
California P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
5+ years in geotechnical/project engineering with comprehensive field experience and excellent written communication skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
