Role Overview Brooksource is seeking a Senior Pega Developer to join the Credit Services Systems team within Customer Operations. This team builds and supports Pega applications that power enterprise collections and recoveries processes and works closely with business and technology partners on high‑visibility initiatives, including mobile enhancements, payment plan optimization, branded calling, and Kredos development, all focused on improving decisioning, automation, and financial outcomes.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance Pega CDH and core Pega applications to support customer decisioning and engagement strategies
Collaborate with cross‑functional business and technology teams to design and optimize workflows and decision logic
Utilize Python to support automation, integrations, and advanced application enhancements
Write and optimize SQL / PL-SQL queries to support reporting, performance tuning, and data‑driven decisions
Support ongoing improvements to collections and recoveries platforms through scalable, maintainable Pega solutions
Optionally leverage Apache Airflow to orchestrate and automate complex workflows
Contribute to best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement across the Pega development lifecycle
Qualifications
5–6 years of hands‑on experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH)
Strong understanding of decisioning strategies, personalization, and customer engagement frameworks
Pega certifications required, such as: CERT‑PEGA‑DEVELOPER (example), CERT‑PEGA‑BA® (example)
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and integrations
Solid experience with SQL / PL-SQL, including complex queries and performance optimization
Experience with Apache Airflow is a plus (not required)
Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced, agile environment
