QuantLink AI
QuantLink is a financial technology company building data and analytics tools for public equity markets. We use modern software engineering, machine learning, and quantitative research to help investors better understand how companies and stocks have behaved historically under different conditions.
Our platform focuses on:
Organizing and analyzing large sets of technical, fundamental, and price-based data
Providing transparent, evidence-based analytics and tools
Supporting investors and professionals in making more informed, data-driven decisions
As an early-stage company, we work in a focused, collaborative environment where people can take real ownership of their projects and see their work used in production.
Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of our user-facing applications. This is a full‑time role based in Minneapolis, MN, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will own the frontend experience across web and mobile, with a focus on building intuitive, high‑performance interfaces for complex financial data. You'll work directly with the founder and collaborate closely with product, data science, and backend engineering to deliver a best‑in‑class user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the frontend architecture using Next.js, TypeScript, and React
Build responsive, polished experiences across desktop and mobile that feel native and performant
Design and implement sophisticated data visualizations that make large financial datasets intuitive and actionable
Collaborate with backend engineers to design clean API contracts and efficient data fetching patterns
Champion frontend best practices: component architecture, state management, accessibility, and performance optimization
Manage deployments and CI/CD workflows via Vercel
Write well‑tested, maintainable code with a focus on reliability and developer experience
Partner with product and design to translate requirements into delightful user experiences
Help shape engineering standards, architecture decisions, and team culture
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience shipping and operating production applications
Deep expertise in Next.js, TypeScript, and React
Strong track record building responsive, mobile‑first web applications
Proven experience designing and implementing complex data visualizations (charts, tables, grids) for data‑heavy applications
Experience with frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
Familiarity with Vercel or similar deployment platforms and CI/CD workflows
Strong eye for design, UX patterns, and attention to detail
Ability to work in Minneapolis with a hybrid schedule (3 days/week in office)
Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a small, fast‑paced team
Comfort with an early‑stage startup environment with evolving priorities and high ownership
Nice to Have
Experience with financial markets, equity research, portfolio analytics, or trading systems
Familiarity with charting libraries (D3.js, Recharts, Highcharts, TradingView) or data grid components (AG Grid, TanStack Table)
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Familiarity with Python and FastAPI or similar backend frameworks
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel) and modern frontend tooling
Previous experience at an early‑stage startup or building data‑intensive products from scratch
Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
Why QuantLink?
Work on real‑world problems where your code ships to production and is used by actual users
Get exposure to the full lifecycle of building a data product, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Collaborate closely with data science and research teammates and see how software engineering connects to quantitative analytics and decision‑making
Learn directly from experienced founders and technical leaders in software, data, and product
Join early enough to have meaningful ownership over projects, tools, and processes, and to influence the direction of the product and engineering stack
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level
Employment type: Full‑time
Job function: Engineering and Information Technology
Industry: Technology, Information and Internet
