Director, SAP S4 HANA Solution Architect - Utilities
Join KPMG US as a Director, SAP S4 HANA Solution Architect for our Utilities consulting practice. In this role you will lead solution architecture and technical consulting for power and utilities clients.
Responsibilities
Lead as a Solution Architect and technical expert within the SAP S4 HANA IS-U platform, specializing in Power and Utilities clients, leveraging deep knowledge of SAP technology and functionalities.
Drive strategic sales opportunities and oversee the successful delivery of SAP-related projects, showcasing the capabilities of SAP within the utilities sector.
Collaborate in the creation and enhancement of Intellectual Property within KPMG's Global SAP Community, focusing on pioneering innovations such as SAP AI and Build tailored to utilities.
Provide expert guidance for KPMG tools and accelerators, SAP Build, and the SAP Alliances program, identifying areas for enhancement and developing new capabilities within the SAP S4 HANA Utilities domain.
Contribute to the development, refinement, and promotion of KPMG methodologies and tools, ensuring their widespread usage across the organization.
Partner with KPMG leadership to design and present the benefits of SAP AI and Build solutions to senior management at client organizations, supporting the development of solutions for local sales opportunities including AI integration.
Qualifications
Minimum ten years of recent SAP S4 HANA experience, with significant background as a Platform Architect specializing in the newest SAP version architecture; extensive end‑to‑end SAP S4 HANA IS-U project experience required.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Relevant certifications or practical experience with the SAP AI solution portfolio and/or SAP Build within the utilities domain.
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Functional Design principles, specializing in SAP S4 HANA Utilities.
Proven track record of driving internal transformation initiatives and influencing cross‑functional teams.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Willingness to travel as required to meet client and project needs.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for future employment‑based visa sponsorship.
