Position Details

Location: 133 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215

Department: Radiology – Mammography

Schedule: Per Diem, As Needed

As a Mammography Technologist I you will work under the guidance of a radiologist, performing mammography exams in accordance with MQSA, state regulations, and our health centre’s established policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities

Confirm appropriate clinical data, obtain patient history, and use the lowest possible dose to provide high‑quality images for the interpreting radiologist.

Provide for the emotional, physical well‑being, and safety of the patient while maintaining strict standards of patient confidentiality.

Communicate effectively with patients as well as other members of the health care team.

Recognize and efficiently communicate equipment problems in a timely manner to the Department Supervisor.

For every location worked, provide ongoing CEU documentation to support licensure requirements.

Maintain continuing education and continuing experience requirements as defined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalency certificate from an accredited institution or governmental unit.

Graduate of an accredited radiography program.

Passed the ARRT exam in Mammography.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

Must be licensed in Radiography for 1+ years.

1+ years of experience as a mammography technologist.

Proven knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations.

Proven knowledge of PACS and associated equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

General knowledge of healthcare delivery services.

Ability to learn and master new tasks related to image quality and safety.

Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds.

Ability to complete mammography exams in a timely manner even under stressful conditions.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
