Pay Range
American Osteopathic Association provided pay range: $115,000 - $125,000 per year.
Location & In-Person Requirement Full-time hybrid position: office in downtown Chicago, IL (Streeterville/Mag Mile). Requires 2 in-person days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday).
Job Summary The Integrated Marketing Lead is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of integrated marketing efforts that support AOIA – the innovation arm of the AOA. This strategic, hands‑on role develops and implements data‑informed marketing strategies, leads content creation, manages digital campaigns, and oversees analytics and reporting across multiple platforms. Working closely with program leads and internal teams, the Lead is an autonomous, full‑funnel marketer who ensures deliverables align with AOIA and AOA strategic plans and annual metrics, with a focus on measurable results and high‑quality execution.
Essential Functions Marketing Planning
Develop and implement marketing plans for AOIA programs and services, grounded in KPIs and organizational priorities.
Collaborate with program owners and marketing & communications colleagues to align messaging, timelines, performance benchmarks and self‑service models across initiatives.
Digital & Email Marketing
Manage and execute email marketing campaigns using automation tools, segmentation, and performance optimization.
Lead organic and paid digital marketing strategies across channels such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and social platforms, ensuring alignment with program goals and ROI expectations.
Create and manage compelling marketing content strategies and action plans for web, social media, email, and collateral.
Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, tone consistency, and brand alignment.
Website Management
Maintain and update AOIA’s existing website with fresh, relevant, user‑focused content.
Collaborate with external developers (as needed) to support user experience, SEO optimization, accessibility standards and support internal users in a self‑service best‑practices model.
Analytics & Reporting
Track, analyze, and report on campaign and channel performance using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email metrics.
Provide actionable insights and regular reporting dashboards to inform continuous improvement.
Work cross‑functionally with stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies support broader organizational objectives.
Serve as a marketing advisor lead for key initiatives.
Qualifications Mandatory
Minimum eight years of experience in go‑to‑market marketing, communications, or digital strategy with proven success managing multi‑channel campaigns.
Proven skill set in end‑to‑end project leadership and management of an integrated team.
Demonstrated ability to integrate matrixed resources to plan, execute, and measure marketing efforts using defined KPIs and analytics tools.
Strong content development skills, including writing web, email, and social media platforms.
Proficient in WordPress/ SquareSpace (web platforms), Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms, CRM tools, and marketing automation platforms.
Experience with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Solid understanding of accessibility and SEO best practices in digital communications.
Excellent organizational, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or nonprofit marketing.
Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with a startup mentality.
Working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or HubSpot platform.
Working Conditions
Physical Demands: Sedentary work requiring occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds; requires manual dexterity with computer/use of peripherals. May involve irregular hours, evenings, weekends.
Mental Demands: Fast‑paced, dynamic environment; requires quick adaptation, good judgment, effective oral and written communication, and interaction with stakeholders.
Travel: Overnight travel expected approximately 4–6 times a year for professional development and industry events.
