The Technical Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and guiding the technical architecture of enterprise and cloud-based solutions. This role provides strategic technical leadership, ensures system scalability, security, and performance, and aligns technology solutions with business objectives. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise, strong architectural vision, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end technical architectures for applications, platforms, and integrations

Define architectural standards, best practices, and technical roadmaps

Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and engineering teams

Evaluate, select, and integrate appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks

Ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and security across solutions

Lead architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions

Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align solutions with business goals

Support cloud and infrastructure architecture, including migration and optimization initiatives

Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies

Document architectural designs, diagrams, and technical specifications

Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational standards

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

5–10+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or solution architecture

Proven experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise-level systems

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and distributed systems

Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks

Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability principles

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Preferred Skills

Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)

Experience with data architecture, analytics, or AI/ML systems

Prior experience working in a remote or global team environment
