Job Overview Edward Jones is looking for a Financial Advisor to develop and grow their own practice. You will partner with clients to help them achieve long-term financial goals, including retirement, wealth building, estate strategies, and education funding. Your role will be supported by a branch team, a home‑office team, and regional advisors.

Key Responsibilities
Build relationships and create new clients through face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).
Deeply understand client needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies.
Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to deliver a high‑quality client experience that aligns with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
Engage the branch team to monitor and adjust the branch business plan for effectiveness and results.
Create an engaging environment of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability within the branch.
Skills & Qualifications
Interest in financial services/markets and how they operate.
Love of learning and challenges, with determination to succeed.
Strong long‑term relationship‑building skills.
Comfortable with critical thinking and problem solving.
Passion for new opportunities and client impact.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in securities/financial services.
Experience in financial services, sales, or related areas.
Existing financial services registration, licensing, or certification is an advantage.
Professional or military career progression demonstrates dedication and growth.
Licensing
SIE (obtainable without firm sponsorship), Series 7 and Series 66 required; registration may be obtained during your paid study period.
FINRA registrations required within three months of hire.
State insurance licenses required.
Ongoing compliance training and CE requirement to maintain licenses.
