Candidate Profile The Superintendent of Schools will be a collaborative and visionary leader who demonstrates integrity, strong communication skills, sound financial judgment, and a deep dedication to students, staff, and the community.

Compensation The Board is prepared to negotiate a 3-year contract with a salary up to $170,000, depending on the successful candidate's preparation, qualifications, experience and reputation as an educational leader.
Search Timeline
January 30, 2026: Deadline for submission of application
Early February 2026: Review of applications by Board of Education
Late February 2026: Confidential first round interviews with Board of Education
March 2026: Second round interviews with stakeholders and selection of potential candidate
April 2026: Final appointment of Superintendent
July 1, 2026 or soon thereafter: New Superintendent starts
Residency District residency is strongly encouraged but not required.
