Join our team at Brighton Post Acute as Director of Nursing
Full-time opportunity available. Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM. $120k-$150k per year.
Responsibilities of Director of Nursing
Develop and implement the written staffing plan that reflects the needs of the department.
Perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical team.
Work in partnership with the Administrator to ensure quality, person-centered care.
Develop, manage, and evaluate department policies and procedures by current rules and regulations.
Qualifications for Director of Nursing
Must possess valid unencumbered, RN State License.
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of clinical nursing experience within a hospital, nursing care center, or another related healthcare setting.
Must have experience in supervision and principles, the practice of teaching, etc.
Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices is strongly preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public.
Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
Must have prior Director of Nursing experience working in a nursing home in Massachusetts.
