Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday 13-week assignment May be required to cover hard to fill shifts Every other holiday coverage is required Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced pay rate based on facility radius rules The number of miles in the radius rule varies by state COVID-19 vaccination is not required All positions are auto offer Travelers should discuss contract extensions with management at least 45 days before contract end date
Requirements Active RN license with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications required NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred or required based on unit group Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address Nursys verification required prior to consideration Copy of driver’s license and two separate professional references required
