Pre-Litigation Attorney Type of Position:
Full Time Location:
Remote Pay strong attention to details in drafting court documents Compile all possible information, evidence and documentation, including medical records and bills, loss of earnings documentation and change in lifestyle information, that will help the legal department build a case Negotiate claims Review and evaluate liability and insurance availability for cases in pre-litigation Build client relationships and communicate with clients and family members during pre-litigation Conduct investigations – collect and analyze evidence in order to determine all potential claims and liability, potential defendants, and insurance coverages Conduct legal research Investigate facts of loss and research application of case law Draft government claim forms and demand letters draft correspondence as needed Licensed attorney in California Comfortable meeting with clients/potential clients both on-site and off-site Comfortable with travelling and open to flexible hours as necessary Creative and flexible Communicate well in writing with attention to detail Flexible Schedules ~ Medical, Dental, Vision and Pet Insurance ~Company-paid Life Insurance and AD&D Coverage, Voluntary Life Insurance ~ Short-term and Long-term Disability ~ Employee Assistance and Travel Assistance Programs ~ Unlimited Time Off (FTO) for Attorneys and Exec positions ~ Cell Phone and Internet Stipend ~ Remote Positions
