Medstaff is seeking a board-certified Radiologist for remote teleradiology locum tenens coverage for two hospital sites in central Pennsylvania - starting July 2025 for an ongoing assignment.
Details:
- Setting: Remote (Teleradiology) - supporting two hospital-based inpatient sites
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, with shift options:
- 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Call: None - No weekends or after-hours required
- Start Date: July 2025 (Emergency privileges and temps available for clean background)
- Coverage Sites: Two locations outside of Pittsburgh
- Daily Volume: 80-100 reads/day (RVUs: 60-70)
- Modalities: XR, CT, MR, US, NM, Flouro
- Sub-specialty Mix: ER, MSK, Neuro, Nuc Med, Flouro, Mammo Screens & Diagnostics
- Light IR Procedures:
- Biopsies: Thyroid, lung, bone (CT & US-guided; no liver or renal)
- Drainages: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscesses, chest tubes, cysts
- Lumbar Punctures: Diagnostic LPs, Myelograms (no epidurals)
- Arthrograms: Joint injuries (knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, ankle)
- Technology:
- EMR: Meditech
- PACS: Merge
- Dictation: Fluency
Requirements:
- Active PA Medical License
- ABR Certification (MD or DO)
- Comfortable with light IR and broad general radiology
