Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established, physician-owned cardiology practice in Casper, Wyoming. This full-time position offers the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of interventional cardiology in a collaborative, high-volume environment. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced interventional and invasive cardiologists with access to state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced Cath labs and a hybrid OR. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, including diagnostic and interventional procedures, clinic visits, and regional outreach. Key Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements at a 217-bed hospital with two Cath labs and a hybrid OR.
Participate in a rotating call schedule (1 in 3) with full interventional team coverage (3 interventionalists, 3 invasive cardiologists).
Engage in patient care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with typical hospital caseload of 10 patients/day and clinic volumes of 22-35 patients/day.
Conduct outreach clinics approximately 2-3 times per month to provide cardiology care to surrounding communities.
Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgery, imaging, and nursing teams to ensure high-quality, comprehensive cardiovascular care
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
Active or eligible for Wyoming medical license.
Current DEA license.

Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology, demonstrating proficiency in complex procedures (e.g., atherectomy, structural interventions).
Experience with structural heart cases or working in hybrid cath lab environments.
Prior work in rural or community hospital settings, especially those with outreach clinics.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven team collaboration with surgeons, PAs, and nursing staff.
Research or quality-improvement experience in interventional cardiology (e.g., case reviews, process improvement).
