Job Opportunity: Non-Invasive Cardiologist

We offer excellent full-time employment opportunities for Fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiology physicians. You will work across two hospitals, St. Peters Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, providing high-quality care to our community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for Non-Invasive Cardiology cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Maintain excellent clinical and communication skills while ensuring a team-oriented approach to patient care.
• Participate in a 50/50 hospital and clinic shift structure, with minimal on-call requirements.
• Join a highly regarded group established in 1980, committed to delivering top-notch cardiovascular care.
• Utilize a wide range of services including General Cardiology, Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, and more.
• Engage in an on-call rotation of 1 weeknight per week and a weekend rotation of 1:5 supported by Advanced Practice Providers.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues in a physician-friendly environment with strong practice support.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
• Truly Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility working toward BC) or Board Certified in Cardiology - REQUIRED
• Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (must be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
• New York License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Open to upcoming 2025 grads and experienced candidates.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Valid Medical License in the state of New York.
• Fellowship completion in Cardiology prior to employment.
