divh2Lobby Supervisor/h2pAllied Universal is hiring a Lobby Supervisor to oversee an Office Building located in Times Square, Manhattan./ppPosition Is: Full Time/ppWork Shifts Available: 7AM - 3PM/ppWorkdays Available: Candidates should be flexible Monday - Friday/ppPay Rate: $23.40/hour/ppMust exhibit great customer service skills, will be interacting with the general public on a daily basis and interaction with client and staff/ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliSupervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to the client. Act as a liaison between customer, Account Manager, and lobby receptionists; supervise lobby staff, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range/liliSupervise day-to-day operations at the site for Lobbies, Badge ID, Visitor Centers, and Large Events/liliEnforce Allied Universal policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos/liliAssist the Account Manager in identifying, meeting, and exceeding the needs of the customer/liliMeet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtime/liliCoordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training (OJT), client specific training, and annual refresher training for lobby personnel/liliManage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklists/liliCommunicate staffing needs to the Account Manager or to recruiters via Requisition Form, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates/liliAssure that lobby personnel receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)/liliAssist with the communication of policies, company announcements and job openings/liliPerform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)/liliRespond to client requests/liliMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders/liliProvide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties/liliDisciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel/liliMake productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management/liliMake recommendations for physical security surveys, job safety analysis and post orders/liliMake recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel assigned/li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent/liliLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment/liliMust possess, or be able to obtain, a SECRET clearance with the Department of Defense/liliMinimum one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement or military service/liliMust possess one or more of the following:/liulliService in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard/liliService in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets/liliMinimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry/li/ulliBe able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors/liliDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public/liliEffective oral and written communication skills/liliProblem solving skills/liliActive listening skills/liliAssess and evaluate situations effectively; identify critical issues quickly and accurately/liliCompile, sort, and interpret data/liliResearch, investigate, compile information/liliMediate conflict with tact, diplomacy/liliWrite informatively, clearly, and accurately/liliTeamwork/liliAttention to detail/li/ulh3Preferred Qualifications:/h3ulliPossession of one or more of the following:/liulliService in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone/liliGraduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field/liliBachelors degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies/liliA minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch/liliAssociates degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service/li/ul/ulh3Benefits:/h3ulliMedical, dental, vision, basic life, ADD, and disability insurance/liliEnrollment in our companys 401(k)plan, subject to eligibility requirements/liliSeven holidays annually paid at time and a half, if worked/lili40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments.
