As a General Manager , your primary responsibility is to guarantee the site's success by overseeing all sales and service operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional managers and institute streamlined, customer-focused processes to propel Tesla's mission of accelerating the global transition to sustainable energy.

We're looking for a candidate who can make a significant impact in this leadership position.

What You'll Do

  • Team Development: Understand individual motivations and coach for growth, fostering a culture of inclusion and psychological safety.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Manage the end-to-end customer journey, monitor service trends, and improve communication, processes, and relationships.
  • Adaptability: Excel in dynamic problem-solving, lead with a clear "why," and remain resilient under pressure, while actively pursuing personal development.
  • Results-Oriented: Communicate business priorities, ensure clear expectations, and take ownership of site performance, setting and achieving targets while holding the team accountable.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree, professional experience leading an end-to-end customer-facing operation in a fast-paced environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Relentless drive for excellence; provide recognition and feedback daily while making team members feel included and valued.
  • First-principles thinker who finds creative solutions to previously unsolvable problems, with integrity through a dedicated and ethical approach to sales and service operations.
  • Commitment and enthusiasm to work evenings and weekends alongside the team.
  • Ability to stand or sit for 8 hours or more; occasional travel required for offsite meetings and events, typically less than 10% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • For roles in CA, CO, HI, ID, MD, MS, NV, NC, OH, PA, TN, UT, VA, DC: Must possess a Motor Vehicle Salesperson License issued by the State DMV. Contact your state DMV to check eligibility.
  • For roles in AZ, GA, HI, IA, IN, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, PA, VT, WA: Notary license is preferred. Tesla will assist with obtaining a notary license if needed.
