Our Chicago office is seeking an attorney with 7+ years of lending experience for our Corporate Finance practice group. The ideal candidate will focus on financing transactions, with significant experience representing lenders across various industries in acquisition financings, recapitalizations, restructurings, opinions, and UCC filings. The role involves managing lending deals from start to finish with limited supervision.
Additional qualifications include a working knowledge of general corporate law, such as mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, shareholder agreements, customer agreements, and daily operations. Attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, quick learning ability, and excellent communication skills are essential. The position may offer flexibility in title based on experience. No portable business is required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Illinois admission is required; New York license (or ability to waive in) is a plus. Salary starts at $210,000, commensurate with experience.
