Iowa Clinic is actively recruiting for an Electrophysiology Physician to join their team

• Established team of 2 Electrophysiology, 3 Noninvasive, and 2 Invasive Cardiology physicians supported with a team of 1 Electrophysiology Advanced Practitioner and 4 General Cardiology Advanced Practitioner
• Established practice
• Opportunity to practice Electrophysiology in an established and well-known clinic

• Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
• Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• They use Carto for their mapping system.
• About 60% is spent in lab and about 40% in clinic
• They do an average of about 13 ablations and 28 devices per month
• J1 Candidates considered

Responsibilities

• Average of 16-20 patients per day
• Shared call amongst the providers. Currently 1:6
• Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
