Assignment Details

Coverage Type: 12- or 24-hour shifts (36-hour shifts available upon approval)
Setting: Inpatient & Urgent Care (combined volume)
Start: ASAP
Annual Volume: 9,500 (includes Urgent Care)
Second Coverage: APP provides Convenience Care 12p-8p Sat/Sun; may extend to other days
EMR: Epic

Clinical Details

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care for a wide range of patient presentations.
Collaborate with APPs for weekend coverage and ensure consistent patient flow through both ED and urgent care settings.
Participate in ongoing stroke and trauma readiness initiatives within a Level III environment.

Requirements

Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or ABPS (with ER or Peds experience)
Active Minnesota medical license
ACLS, BLS, ATLS or CALS with trauma module, and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 2 hours of stroke education (certificate of continuing education required)
COVID-19 vaccination required
