Endoscopy Consultants is a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. Each member of our team is committed to patient excellence at EVERY encounter with EVERY patient.
nEndoscopy nurses function as essential members of healthcare teams, preparing patients for procedures and helping during those procedures along with screenings. Endoscopy nurses also help treat and diagnose respiratory and gastrointestinal disorders and diseases.

nEDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing n
- Current Georgia Nursing License n
- Current BLS and ACLS n
- Minimum of 1 years experience in Pre-Op/PACU n
- Strong knowledge of GI procedures and management of the Pre-op/PACU patient n
- Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation n
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics n
- Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors n
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed n
- Excellent teaching skills n
- Excellent communication and organizational skills n
- Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior n
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK) n
- Strong customer service skills n
- Demonstrate accountability, creativity, innovation and be receptive to change n
- Possess basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology n
