Overview Annapurna Labs designs silicon and software that accelerates innovation. Our custom chips, accelerators, and software stacks enable us to tackle challenging technical problems and deliver results that help customers change the world. Responsibilities Serve as a Component Engineer with strong hardware design and firmware support background. Collaborate with the supply chain team to assist with component selection, optimize cost, and ensure system validation and integration of hardware in the AWS fleet across its entire life cycle. Work cross-functionally with the Platform Design team and other AWS teams to improve quality and reliability of products operating in the fleet. Work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects in parallel, and maintain high standards for on-time delivery, cost, and quality. Qualifications Basic Qualifications BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience with component engineering 3+ years of experience with hardware/software integration for embedded systems or hardware development Experience with supply chain, vendors and working with external ODM Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical capabilities Ability to work independently and drive tasks from start to completion Ability to work cross-functionally with software teams to define and implement diagnostics for hardware validation at component, interface, and system levels Experience with server (x86 / ARM) design or architecture Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $143,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $257,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
