Pay: $295/hr – $305/hr (Hourly)

Employment Type: Full‑time (13 weeks)

Location: Tampa, FL, Urgent Care Facility

Schedule: Standard 5, 12‑Hour shift (19:00 – 07:00) with scheduled coverage and optional on‑call duty.

General Job Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and comprehensive medical care to patients with a wide range of emergencies and acute illnesses.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and stabilize patients with life‑threatening conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for various acute medical and surgical emergencies.
• Perform emergency procedures such as suturing, wound care, and splinting when needed.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X‑rays, CT scans) to guide treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and manage pain effectively.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high‑pressure situations.

Minimum Education & Certification Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Emergency, Internal, Family Medicine (American Board of Emergency Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Family Medicine) or American Osteopathic Association.

License & Certifications

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Florida.
• Board certification.

Experience

• At least one year of experience working in an emergency department setting (preferred).
