As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help create a secure environment, and communicate professionally with all individuals on site. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
- Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to address inquiries and provide guidance related to security-related matters.
- Assist with the implementation of emergency response procedures and support evacuation or lockdown processes as directed.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
