Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Position Summary: We are seeking a seasoned NetSuite Functional Manager to lead and manage the NetSuite ERP system across a multi-site, multi-entity organization. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer, this role will focus on optimizing system functionality, driving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic ERP planning. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in NetSuite configuration, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration in project-based environments. Key Responsibilities: Provide ongoing leadership and functional support for all aspects of NetSuite ERP usage Evaluate business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements to enhance operations Regularly assess system usage and configuration to ensure alignment with business objectives Define business requirements and configure NetSuite accordingly, including fields, record types, dashboards, and workflows Develop and manage customizations, integrations, and technical enhancements using internal or external resources as needed Lead solution architecture for complex business needs, ensuring scalable and sustainable implementations Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify gaps and prioritize system improvements Design and execute system integration testing, including test script development and validation Manage and communicate system changes to internal teams, ensuring effective change management and user adoption Serve as a subject matter expert for Finance and Operations teams, including areas such as tax, revenue recognition, and intercompany transactions Document processes and create training materials for end users Support long-term strategic planning and ERP roadmapping initiatives Participate in vendor management and interface with third-party consultants when necessary Travel as needed, including potential international travel (passport eligibility required) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Minimum of 5 years of NetSuite configuration and system management experience Strong understanding of NetSuite OneWorld, revenue management, and multi-entity environments Experience supporting project-based businesses and operational workflows Proven ability to deliver business process improvements through technology Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and documentation skills Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and timelines Effective communicator with the ability to partner across departments and levels Experience managing and executing ERP enhancements, system testing, and end-user training This role does not have direct reports Background check required as a condition of employment Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, and PTO Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology, Finance, and Project Management Industries Biotechnology Research, Environmental Services, and Utilities Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Intersect Group by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Get notified about new Functional Manager jobs in Long Beach, CA .
