Responsibilities The Practice Manager is responsible to assure efficient running of the clinical practice on a day to day basis. Trains and instructs new administrative staff members. Maintains adequate levels of administrative and clinical supplies for the department. Demonstrates excellent customer service while interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals. Delegate responsibilities to staff to insure that all revenue is captured and that all business processes are completed on a daily basis. Works in Multiple Areas throughout the work week. Requirements Education and Work Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or GED Three to five years medical office experience preferred Experience with Medical Terminology is useful, some supervisory experience Must be enrolled in a Master’s of Business Administration program or have completed a Master’s of Business Administration program. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel Microsoft Outlook Meditech (if applicable to position) Epic (if applicable to position) NetLearning Electronic Performance Appraisal System Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following: Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public. Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.
